Oakley Valve Ducati Limited Edition 12-638 Sunglasses Deadstock

Deadstock. Never worn, never fitted, never on a face. Twenty-odd years in a dealer's stockroom: no marks on the Black Iridium lenses, no wear on the red rubber, and the box still wearing its original retail sticker.

The Valve is the Oakley that reads as a motorcycle part — a wrapped O-Matter frame with the ear stems machined down to almost nothing. This one is from the first year of the Oakley × Ducati partnership: the box carries the ©2003 Ducati Motor Holding licence.

The full set: the original Oakley Limited Edition box with its 12-638 label, the Ducati Corse outer sleeve, the microfibre pouch, the PLATE lens leaflet, the warranty card and the Ducati rider card.

Details: Reference: 12-638 (A02934), Frame Dark Grey · Lens Black Iridium. This is the 2003 Limited Edition Valve 1.0, not the later OO9236 "Ducati" colourway, which is a different and far more common frame. Size: one size fits all. Condition: deadstock, new and unworn.
