Oakley New Straight Jacket Ducati Limited Edition 12-637 Sunglasses Deadstock

Deadstock. Never worn, never fitted, never on a face. This pair left the Oakley line in 2003 and has sat in a dealer's stockroom ever since: the Black Iridium lenses carry no marks, the rubber has no wear, and the box still holds every piece of paper it shipped with.

Oakley and Ducati ran one of the longest collaborations in eyewear, and this frame is from the very first year of it — the box carries the ©2003 Ducati Motor Holding licence. The New Straight Jacket was the shape Oakley chose to open the partnership with.

The full set: the original Oakley Limited Edition box with its 12-637 label, the Ducati Corse outer sleeve, the microfibre pouch, the PLATE lens leaflet, the warranty card and the Ducati rider card.

Dark Grey frame with the louvred, vented ear stems that give the Straight Jacket its silhouette — STRAIGHT is etched down the arm and MADE IN USA on the inside, from the years Oakley still built these in California. Red Oakley ellipse icons on both temples.
